2023 Decostruzione dell'Amore, live action short (producer, director of photography, opened at Bread&Roses Film Festival, New Jersey): "Is emotional attachment an endangerment to one's achieved autonomy, especially for women?" The day her boyfriend leaves her, Nana tries to answer this question by confronting herself with the experience of other women she meets during the day, and by facing her mother. The hairdresser Salon becomes the therapy room and a head massage, the trigger for personal reflection.

 2023 See me: Kübra, short documentary (scripted, produced, directed, shot and edited for Voice of America): Kübra wears a headscarf by choice. It sets her apart as a Muslim woman in German society. She longs for the time when people she meets will see the woman she is rather than a walking headscarf. Meanwhile, as a theologian and a podcaster, she promotes religious tolerance along with her Jewish and Christian colleagues.

2022 I'm People, I Am Nobody, feature documentary (German co-producer, opened at DOCNYC): Stevan, a 60-year-old, former porn performer from Serbia awaits the outcome of a Kafkaesque trial process in a Maltese prison. The moody landscapes reflect the loneliness and desperate state he was in prior to his arrest for public exposure in this bizarre story, which unspools like an eerie mystery.
